Australian Security Education & Consulting Pty Ltd (ASEC) was founded in 2003 by Managing Director, Carl Rees. ASEC is committed to providing high quality education and training to their students. ASEC supports and guides students in their career paths to ensure that the students are at the leading edge of the Security Industry. To achieve this goal, ASEC is committed to continuous improvement of the company and employs staff members who demonstrate current industry experience.

ASEC has dedicated training rooms at 8A/160 Lysaght Street in Mitchell ACT. The rooms are furnished with equipment currently used in the Security and First Aid industries. This gives students a practical learning environment to ensure students are prepared for the workplace. Students will learn to use walk through and hand held metal detectors, two-way radios and other security equipment. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in real life scenarios, case studies and open class discussions during each course.

ASEC prides itself on being a flexible training organisation, being able to meet the needs of many individuals and businesses. ASEC offers week day, weekend and evening classes as well as a free Wednesday night tutorial for all students.
